Our Story
Make America Sparkle Again was founded by Deborah Yanna in 2023.
Deborah’s journey from a dedicated volunteer to a designer of political statement jackets has been nothing short of extraordinary and is one of immense passion, dedication & faith. In 2024, she was selected by President Donald J. Trump as a national delegate for the state of Iowa, a testament to her years of passionate support and tireless volunteer work for his campaign.
Throughout her journey, Deborah had the privilege of meeting President Trump on multiple occasions. He knows her by name, is known by his campaign as his "Super Volunteer" and has even acknowledged her efforts. In one memorable interaction, President Trump remarked, "Deborah, you’ve done an incredible job," recognizing her passion and dedication to the cause.
Her commitment to President Trump’s campaign was nearly unmatched. Deborah made over 300,000 calls, walked thousands of miles knocking on doors, and traveled across the U.S. to ensure his success. In recognition of her tireless volunteer work, she was honored with a special VIP invitation to the election night watch party, marking another milestone in her journey.
Each time Deborah attended a rally or political event, she wore a different jacket she designed herself. These eye-catching jackets reflected the spirit of the moment and her creations were personalized for every occasion—sequined, bold, and unapologetically patriotic. As she wore these jackets to rallies, they started to catch the attention of others, including high-profile figures. The designs, which blended activism with fashion, quickly went viral, garnering attention from the political community and beyond.

The name "Make America Sparkle Again" came about during a serendipitous moment with a member of the press. Admiring Deb’s dazzling jackets, the reporter said, "Wow, your jackets are quite a hit here. Did you wear these to stand out?" With a confident smile, Deb replied, "Yes. When President Trump takes his rightful place in the White House, he’ll Make America Sparkle Again." And just like that, a brand name—and a movement—was born.
Her jackets were worn by notable figures like Alina Habba and Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, further propelling her into the spotlight. In fact, her TikTok post featuring Alina Habba wearing one of her signature jackets at Madison Square Garden gained nearly 3 million views, solidifying her as a rising star in the world of political fashion.
